I also think you're off your rocker if you believe a newer raider is going to walk into a decent raiding guild and have a chance at first dibs on one of the most legendary weapons to date over a veteran who has put in thier time, gone to bat for the guild and done work. Obviously you were not around in Vanilla, and saw how much the mats went for to create legendaries back then. To anyone else thinking about doing this, good luck! I'm about numb from farming T_TĮxcept the main difference is Crusader Orbs were not used to create a LEGENDARY. I talked with my guild leader about it, and he said it will improve my chances if i am able to provide my own primordial saronite, because hell, if i can make my shadow's edge, why shouldn't i be given rights to take frost shards first? It's better for the guild. This, as you might have guessed is my situation. I'de rather award a player who's willing to provide for himself, then be provided by others. I believe that if a player who hasn't been there longer, same rank though, should be given the same chance as a long time veteran. Applying this analogy to the shadow's edge, you can see the similarity. If person 1 does not have his eternal fire/cloth/titansteel whatever, and person 2 has everything, logically speaking person 2 should get it first. A lot of high end guilds have posts on there websites with a list of who will get the orbs first. Either way, back to the OP question.Īmbition, effort, and a system based on a meritocracy should be prided. If they were 3-5k a piece, i would be ecstatic. First week crusader/runed orbs on my server were 7-10k. I plan on buying them all as they present themselves, though i have no idea where you guys are getting your numbers. According to the Database, they are purchasable for 23 frost emblems
